Overview

Poor employee health poses a significant threat to business. Absenteeism, staff turnover, and escalating healthcare costs directly impact the bottom line. A recent study by The Centre for Economics and Business Research estimates that the average company incurs a cost of £620,000 per annum for long-term absenteeism due to sickness.  Less visible, but possibly even more costly, is the lost productivity arising from chronic health conditions, low motivation, or substance abuse.

Training style

This training uses a variety of approaches including individual assessments, trainer input and practical exercises. Delegates will have ample time to address their individual concerns. The trainer is an expert in the field and thus has an extensive range of material at hand to respond to individual needs.

  • Strategies to improve physical energy and vitality
  • Techniques to enhance physical wellbeing and avoid common physical ailments
  • Factors that impact the immune system and what to do about them
  • An understanding of emotional wellbeing and ways to achieve emotional balance and elevate mood
  • Tactics to support mental health and mental wellbeing
  • The warning signs of burnout and the steps to take to return to health
  • An understanding of how to use these new skills to promote individual job performance
  • An individual wellness profile which identifies the key areas the delegate needs to address
  • Individual action plans which identify clear steps for delegates to apply the insights, strategies, and tools they have learned

Course duration 90 minute presentations, 1/2-day training, or full-day training
Maximum number of delegates Training maximum of 15, presentations can be any size
