Mindtastic Training’s facilitators are highly experienced professionals with an established depth of knowledge of their core subjects combined with outstanding coaching, facilitating and presenting skills.

Our Methods

The core principles of our work consist of a fusion from the fields of health and wellbeing, positive psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness, stress research, and leadership. We provide practical methods which individuals can immediately apply to real-world situations in order to improve performance and heighten wellbeing.

We focus on results by giving individuals specific strategies to create change so they can successfully implement their new skills over the longer-term.

Our Principal Trainer

Mindtastic’s founder and principal trainer is Dawn Hamilton Ph.D. She has 18 years experience as a coach, therapist, and management trainer.

Dawn loves working with people and supporting them as they bring forth their inner genius and create a life that inspires and fulfills them deeply. She has a wealth of experience gained from working with managers, senior executives, professional sports people, and university students which has given her a large toolkit of approaches to improve performance and wellbeing.

Dawn started her career as a finance professional in the City but soon switched to her lifelong passions. She spent 5 years at Cranfield School of Management researching the psychology of Resilience at Work. Her findings identified important strategies people can use to reduce stress and optimize performance. She also has a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy and worked for several years providing 1-to-1 nutritional advice for a range of health conditions. She has a Counselling at Work qualification and a range of other professional qualifications including NLP. She took 3-years of tuition in learning biofeedback, which is a powerful tool for stress relief, deepening meditation and optimising wellbeing. Dawn has a MasterClass qualification in Microsystems Auricular Acupuncture and has studied Group Sound Therapy with The British Academy of Sound Therapy. Her passion for the field means she is regularly updating her skills and continuing to learn; she is a self-confessed neuroscience nerd having studied the subject for the past 15 years.

Dawn has been practising yoga and meditating since was a teenager and over the years has trained in a number of different meditation methods. She also has attended meditation retreats in India and Thailand. Dawn has taken a Mindfulness Teacher Training course, and her approach to teaching complies with the standards set out by The UK Network for Mindfulness-Based Teacher Training Organisations. Dawn has also been practising qigong for 18 years. This is a wonderful mindful movement practise that is similar to Tai Chi.

Dawn offers expert opinion to the media on health, wellbeing, and stress. She has been featured on ITV, BBC TV and radio and in the The Sunday Times, The Daily Express, and The Sunday Telegraph. She has published 4 books, 3 on health and well-being and a book on improving mental ability while studying and taking exams.
